  • Dimensions : 23.5cm H x 21cm L x 7cm W ,Hand made . Intangible cultural heritage of China.

  • Sculpture craftsmen used white, yellow, and green as the main colors in the process of making Tang Tri-Color Glazed horses. In order to enhance its ornamental value and collection value, craftsmen supplemented Tang Tri-Color Glazed Ceramics with blue and brown .

  • Two firings are needed to produce Tang Tricolor horses. The first firing is made to toughen the body. The second is undertaken after applying the glazes for their maturation. With yellow, green and white as its major tones, Tri-Color ceramics is usually fired at a temperature of 1,000 C, a complex mix of lead-glazed pottery of varied dark and bright colors interacting as a result of temperature changes.

  • Flowing-glazes and Drippy-glazes:Glazes melt in the firing to become liquid, Drips will happen naturally with the right glaze application. Glaze can either run all the way down to the bottom, the color flowing with the glaze, we call that "Flowing glazes" ,the glazes hit a point and form a drip, when the sculpture cooling down ,the Drippy-glazes appear.

  • The opening piece porcelain:A ceramic process, the expansion coefficient of billet and glaze is different, and the shrinkage rate of the glaze layer is large when cooling after roasting, so the opening piece comes under the glaze.
